As part of the Green Theory series, I played with different variations of pigments and mixes. On thing you will always see in nature is yellow and green supporting one another. This beautiful green and gold pendant reminds of the globe. A grounding sense. You will also notice a swirl pattern which is a result of the type of powder used and amount of effort in mixing.

Yep! That would have been a disaster! Well not really! The actual disaster has been my attempts at posting this several times throughout the day and losing everything I typed each time. So here goes nothing. Basically, i was just amused at the fact that I was about to post “Pine” when it’s meant to be be “Palm”. That’s what happens when you wake in the wee hours of the morning and attempt to journal your inspirations! And yes today l, Instagram is playing the role of journal. It was a dream of slide film in their cartridges displaying little vignettes of palm trees and street signs on an old carrousel. This is the theme for September. I’m convinced. Will the results be a deconstruction of imagery…a play on words….collage of materials or photographic exploration? Not sure yet. Not sure even of the medium or expression yet but we’ll see what comes next. How do you draw inspiration for your next projects? (And yep because I have to have a certain order of my images depending on how they present below, I added on additional reel post to even put the grid.
